Bijan Saffari
Born in 1933. He lives in Paris

Education
1953 – 1958 Diploma in Architecture at the École Spéciale d’Architecture, Paris

Activities
1959 – 1980 Returns to Tehran to work as interior architect; foundation of the Faculty of Decorative Arts in Tehran Art University; teacher at the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Tehran University; exhibiting in a number of group and solo shows in painting and design; founding Member of the Shiraz Festival of Arts; managing ‘Kargahe Namayesh’, a centre for experimental theatre. 1980 Returns to France where he has lived ever since, continuing with his interior architecture projects, recently adding sculptures to his repertoire of works.
