Leyly Matine Daftary
Leyly Matine-Daftary was a modernist
iranian painter.
Born in Theran in 1937,
Her father,Ahmad Matin Daftary,
as was one of her grandfathers,
Dr. mohammad mossagegh
She studied in London and got a degree in Fine Arts from the Slade School of Fine Arts
. After completing her studies, Leyly returns to Iran, where she becomes a teacher at the Tehran University.
She was also involved with the Shiraz Arts Festival and created graphic materials for the event.
